This was officially Mckay's last prom! Wow, I cannot believe how fast time has really gone! They had a great time!

TONIGHT AS A FAMILY, WE POPPED POPCORN,HAD ICE CREAM, AND SNUGGLED UP TO WATCH TWILIGHT! I AM IN HIGH HOPES THAT THE BOYS IN THIS HOUSE LEARNED A THING OR TWO ABOUT US GIRLS! THE ARTICLE WRITTEN IN THE PAPER LAST WEEK ABOUT TWILIGHT, WAS THE BEST. IT WAS WRITTEN BY A MAN NAMED MICHAEL DE GROOTE. YES, A MAN WROTE IT! IT WAS TITLED "TWILIGHT-A GUIDE FOR MEN." HE TALKS ABOUT HOW EDWARD IS THE PERFECT MAN. HE IS SENSITIVE,BEAUTIFUL,TALENTED,MOODY. WOMEN LOVE HIM EVEN THOUGH HIS LIPS ARE COLD AND PROBABLY STAINED WITH COUGAR BLOOD. HE SAYS THAT IN A WOMAN'S MIND, MEN ARE ALL EDWARDS! EDWARD REPRESENTS ALL OF THE GOOD IN MEN. BUT HE SAYS, MEN ARE ALSO VAMPIRES. THEY HAVE THE ABILITY TO MAKE LIFE MISERABLE FOR WOMEN. THEY CAN GIVE IN TO THEIR OWN DESIRES WITHOUT REGARD FOR HOW IT WOULD DESTROY THEIR LIVES. MEN HAVE THE POWER TO DAZZLE OR DESTROY, HE SAYS. EDWARD CONTROLS HIS VAMPIRISH IMPULSES AND DEEP DESIRES, BECAUSE HE LOVES BELLA. HE WANTS HER TO BE HAPPY AND LIVE! COULDN'T AGREE MORE MR. DE GROOTE. IT IS A GREAT ARTICLE I MUST SAY. The pictures below are from a trip we just took to Cancun. It was great to see and feel the warm SUN!!!! The resort was fabulous! The ocean was extremely warm too! We spent one day in Xcaret, and the rest of the time at the resort. No need to leave at all!

On friday night, my sisters and our daughters went to a concert at the old Murray Theater. We had a room upstairs to watch the concert in,have Sushi, and birthday cake for my nieces. The concert was Adele and James Morrison which were both fabulous! The big surprise was when we realized David Archuleta was in the room next to ours! He was kind enough to snap some pictures with us and sign a few autographs. It was pretty disturbing that my heart was goin' a pitter patter for a kid my sons age! Ew! We all melted when he was singing along with the concert! It was a blast!

I just got "BUGGED!" by pedaling. I am supposed to name 10 things that bug me and then pass it along.

3)dirty dishes in the sink
4)white zits that need to be popped
5)newspaper left all over the bathroom floor when the garbage is 2 in. away
6)snotty people
7)the massive veins that have literally taken over my legs!
8)when somebody touches my belly button-ew I cant even think about it
9)dust-but I dont do anything about it
10)when the fire alarm starts to chirp in the middle of the night saying "I need new batteries!" It is always in the middle of the night when you dont have those type of batteries.

WE HAD OUR FAMILY CHRISTMAS PARTY AT MY SISTER CINDI'S HOUSE. WE DRESSED IN PJS,ATE GOOD FOOD, AND DID A FUN BLANKET SWAP WITH EACHOTHER.

CRAZY ECONOMY, NEW PRESIDENT,SON GRADUATING AND LEAVING FOR COLLEGE, LAST SON STARTING KINDERGARTEN AND SO ON!
BUT ON THE OTHER HAND, PROUD OF SON GRADUATING AND STILL A GOOD KID,CHANCE TO ATTEND COLLEGE AND PREPARE FOR A MISSION,LAST SON EXCITED AS EVER TO START KINDERGARTEN,HOPEFULLY A VISIT TO HAWAII TO SEE MOM AND DAD ON THEIR MISSION,MOM AND DAD CELEBRATING 50 BLISSFUL YRS.,DAD TURNING 7O!,HUSBAND MEETING PEOPLE FROM ALL ENDS OF THE EARTH AND OPENING UP DOORS FOR BUSINESS WITH OTHER COUNTRIES. DAUGHTERS DANCING THEIR TOES OFF,DOG ALMOST POTTY TRAINED AFTER 1 1/2 YEARS,IN LAWS COMING HOME AFTER YEARS OF BEING AWAY.

THIS IS A GOOD LIFE.
